]]> Vitra Christmas showroom https://mariecuennet.ch/walking-through-the-winter-woods/ Wed, 17 May 2023 18:56:27 +0000 https://mariecuennet.ch/?p=2585 Exhibition graphics for the Christmas showroom “Walking through the winter woods” in the VitraHaus, Weil am Rhein, Germany, from November 2022 to January 2023, curated by C. Hüsser and T. Weber.
Together with Till Lauer we created wall graphics, online imagery and a gift voucher for the shop. The various exhibition areas within the building were connected by a thin linear pathway that connected the illustrations. These were interpretations of several famous design objects such as the wooden dolls by Alexander Girard and an iconic chair by the Eames. The silver foil of the wall graphics created subtle changing reflections for passing visitors.

]]> Zorten https://mariecuennet.ch/zorten/ Mon, 04 Nov 2024 10:32:59 +0000 https://mariecuennet.ch/?p=2870 Zorten, a village with a few hundred residents in the Grisons region of Switzerland, is the location of artist Toni Parpan’s barn – a place for creation and exchange.
During the summer, friends come to help work in the fields and garden and also to create artistic interventions on site, far away from bigger institutions or cities. The long-term project fosters dialogue around the experience of collaborating in nature. The artist residencies were held up to 2019 and hopefully can resume in the near future. This publication was created after the most recent residency. A folder contains various posters and brochures documenting 23 artistic interventions from that summer, as well as a diary of the discussions and a list of the participants.
